South Kent School received national attention Thursday in the wake of Apple’s big digital textbook announcement.
The school, in South Kent, CT, launched its iPad program this past fall and boasts a 92 percent digital adoption rate with etextbooks across all grade levels.
Gonzalo Garcia, their director of technology, marketing and communications, is rising as the answers-man for the country’s top private boarding schools since his school’s program is so far ahead of others.
Garcia was interviewed by reporters from the Wall Street Journal and USA Today.
